Ready. Set. GO.
It's been a while! It has been a rediculously busy year but I've loved every single minute of it. I'm a little sad that its over, it's been a journey of epic proportions.
Whats next?
At the moment I'm scrambling for jobs/freelance/volunteer positions, just anything really! I want to stay in the loop and within creative circles. I also hope to look into other sectors like UX/UI design which I have had an interest in for a very long time.
I also hope to take some time and learn some new craft skills! A high level of knitting and embroidery is on the hit list at the moment so watch this space!
It's t-minus 17 days until my final year exhibition so here goes nothing!

AWOL
So recently I disappeared for well ages. I was busy with my dissertation, which is now (thank god) handed in! WAHOO!
So I've finally had the chance to concentrate on my projects (the fun bit) and am currently working on a logo for a magazine.
It's in the early stages at the moment, and just trying on different styles and textures, but I am enjoying doing something with my hands for once instead of perpetually staring at my laptop!

Christmassy things
It's now under 6 weeks until Christmas, and the jolly festivities have been playing on my mind for two main reasons:
1. I want to make/bake/craft my way through the holiday.
2. I want to make Christmas postcards and send them to people.
Looking at Christmas things/cards already, I've been wondering - can anything be made Christmassy if it's in gold, silver, red, green, white or has glitter?
I've simplified some stereotypically Christmassy things to it's minimal Geometric shape...but do they still feel Christmassy? I'm hoping to turn these into Christmas postcards - lets see how it goes.

München, Ich vermisse dich
It has been almost a month since I left what was my home for 6 months. I'm missing it dreadfully (as you can guess from the title)
Spending time abroad has definitley opened my eyes to the fact that working europe (and abroad) can be a very real, successful and fulfilling thing.
The world is bigger than London..here goes nothing!

The End is Nigh
So I've just booked my flight back home to lovely 'ol London!
I'm really sad to leave, I've made some great friends and I've loved getting to know a new city and making a short life here!
Something tells me I'm going to have trouble fitting 6 months of crap into 32kg, but here goes nothing!

Groundhog day
So I've decided to re-do my DFC books again.
After watching the Chip Kidd video, I came to the decision that the book covers I designed felt lazy. I want the covers to be tantalising and interesting. I can do clean and clinical, now I want bombastic and in your face.
Here goes nothing...
